Sabey Data Center Building E, East Wenatchee public comment period

This is a 30-day public comment period for the review of Sabey Data Center's – Building E draft air permit, technical support document, and notice of construction (NOC) application with associated documents.


We propose to approve Sabey Data Center's Building E air quality notice of construction (NOC) application.


Sabey Data Center submitted a notice of construction application for their data center located at 4405 Grant Road, in East Wenatchee. Sabey is proposing to expand its existing Intergate Columbia II data center by installing 14 2.25-2.5-MWe emergency diesel generators and one 1-1.5-MWe emergency diesel generator in Building E. 


Emission increases from this project include:


  • 35 tons per year nitrogen oxides (NOx) 
  • 6.96 tons per year carbon monoxide (CO)  
  • 2.1 tons per year particulate matter (PM)   
  • 2.1 tons per year particulate matter (PM10)
  • 2.1 tons per year particulate matter (PM2.5) 
  • 1.5 tons per year volatile organic compounds (VOC)  
  • 0.64 tons per year diesel engine exhaust, particulate (DEEP)   
  • 0.02 tons per year sulfur dioxide (SO2)   



We determined this proposal satisfies the requirements of Chapter 173-400 WAC. We plan to approve the application.


Tentative online public hearing: Tuesday, August 18, 2026, 6 p.m.

(if requested by July 30, 2026, 11:59 p.m.)


We will hold a public hearing if there is significant public interest. If we do not receive significant written requests for a public hearing by July 30, 2026, then the online public hearing will be cancelled. We will update this information by either cancelling the public hearing or with a link to the public hearing.
