Public Comment Period - Draft 2027 Fresh Fruit Packing General Permit

The Washington State Department of Ecology is releasing the draft Fresh Fruit Packing General Permit for public comment.

The current permit went into effect Jan. 1, 2022, and expires Dec. 31, 2026. The draft general permit, fact sheet explaining the legal and technical basis for the draft permit, economic impact analysis, a copy of the proposed application for coverage, and information about informational meetings and public hearings can be found on the Fresh Fruit Packing General Permit webpage.
