241-S Tank Farm Exhausters NOC Approval Order DE26NWP-001

Ecology is holding a 30-day public comment period on draft Approval Order DE26NWP-001, which would authorize use of three new portable exhausters in the 241-S Single Shell Tank (SST) Farm.


A set of existing portable exhausters was authorized for use in many of the SST farms, including 241-S, under DE05NWP-002, Revision 3. Ecology is proposing to rescind the authorization for the existing exhausters in 241-S at the same time DE26NWP-001 is issued under a separate permitting action to issue DE05NWP-002, Revision 4. A public comment period has been opened simultaneously on the draft DE05NWP-002, Revision 4, which will continue to cover the other SST farms.
