Chapter 173-424 WAC and WAC 173-455-150, Clean Fuel Standard Rulemaking, Informal Comments on GREET 4.0
The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) is in a rulemaking process to update the Clean Fuel Standard. The rulemaking will amend Chapter 173-424 WAC, Clean Fuels Program Rule and Section 150 of Chapter 173-455 WAC, clean fuels program fees.
As part of this rulemaking, Ecology will update the Washington GREET model to WA-GREET4.0, and invite you to share changes you'd like to see and your priorities. We'll especially be seeking your feedback on:
Considerations for reflecting the impact of changes in crude oil CI
Estimating the impact of imported gasoline and diesel on the average gasoline and diesel CI
Timeline for transition from WA-GREET3.0 to WA-GREET4.0
