Simplot Soilbuilders Sunnyside - Feasibility Study and Cleanup Action Plan Public Comment Period

The Simplot Soilbuilders Sunnyside site, located at 300 South 1st Street in Sunnyside, is a working agricultural-distribution site where past handling of fertilizers and pesticides released harmful chemicals into the soil and groundwater.
Public comments will be accepted from August 3 through September 13, 2026.

The Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study investigate the contamination of the site and compare possible ways to clean it up. A Cleanup Action Plan describes how the cleanup will occur.
