Spokane Airport PFAS short-term water plan comment period 5/1-6/30/26

Ecology invites you to review and comment on the Short-term Interim Action Work Plan for the Spokane International Airport (SIA) PFAS cleanup site. Ecology is requiring SIA, the City of Spokane, and Spokane County (responsible parties) to provide safe water to private wells with PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) above drinking water standards in the interim action area north and east of the airport.

Ecology will consider and respond to all comments we receive during this public comment period. We will post our response to comments document on our SIA PFAS webpage and send the document to people who submitted comments.
